Cambridgeshire logistics firm expands its team with commercial appointment

St Neots-based logistics provider, H&M Distribution, which is a member of Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, has expanded its team with the appointment of a new commercial manager.

Vince Mattera has worked in the logistics field for the past 11 years and joins from supply chain operator, Geodis. As part of his new role, he’ll be responsible for driving new business at H&M’s operations in Gloucester and St Neots and he’ll report to regional director, Steve Thorpe.

Commenting on his appointment, Vince said: “It was easy to see the appeal of joining H&M; from the vision of the managerial team to the company being a member of Palletways, which is renowned across the logistics sector for its industry-leading, game-changing technology. I’m excited to put my years of experience to good use to grow the order book throughout the south west and eastern regions and bring commercial benefits to H&M.”

Steve added: “We’re proud of our comprehensive service offering and want as many businesses as possible to know about our capabilities. Bringing Vince into our sales team, with his vast industry knowledge and endless enthusiasm, will help us grow our existing customer base and secure new business. We couldn’t be more pleased to have someone of his calibre in the business.”
